Sue Johanson to talk sex education with SCSU Students
Sex educator, Sue Johanson’s has planned a trip to Southern Connecticut State University to fill information gaps that are found in today’s high school sex education. Johanson is known for hosting the longest running sexual education television program, which first aired in Canada. Since discontinuing “Talk Sex,” Johanson has begun traveling to universities and college campuses to discuss sex education. Johanson’s visit is expected to be slightly different from the television show. The visit will be broken up into twoparts. The first half will be an informational presentation followed by a student Q&A. Students Health Services Health Educator Troy Shafer said that he believes Johanson’s comedic personality helps her discuss sex with students. “It will be interesting to see here cherck her luggage with 85 sex toys,” Shafer joked.
